The Collector of Lost Things

Leo collected lost things: buttons, keys, coins, and small notes. He kept them all in a box under his bed. One night, a soft light came from the box. When he opened it, all the lost things floated gently in the air. A quiet voice said: These are not lost. They are waiting. Leo realized every lost item held a piece of someone’s heart. He began leaving them in places where their owners might find them again. He never received a thank-you, but he did not need one. Helping others find what was lost helped him find his own purpose and happiness.
